Hampered yesterday by the limit of words for the site, so deleted large chunks concerning Fank Hedley's family.
Frank as established was the son of James Hedley & Emily Miskin, I have photographs of them in their later years, the one of James appeared in his Obituary in the New York Herald on Monday May 16, 1910.

James can be found in 1841 Census in Tynemouth where his father was the Station Master & he, aged 15yrs, was an Engineers apprentice.
He married his first wife Eliza Bale, last quarter of 1847, in Dover Kent. In 1851 she was staying with her parents, with their eldest daughter Emma Agnes [b:1848 ref: BDM vol 5 page134.]
2] Henry James Hedley b: 1st quarter 1850, vol 5,p.140.
3]John Hedley b: summer 1852, vol 2a 579.
Eliza death recorded possibly last quarter 1854, Camberwell London.
Second wife was Emily Miskin, daughter of Edward & Harriet.
